Kiawah Island

A home on Kiawah Island built circa 1986 was losing its luster.

The homeowners knew their house was looking and feeling outdated. When they purchased the home in 2018, they knew they would have to renovate almost every room inside and a good bit of the outside. What they wanted and what could be done were still a mystery to them.

Living in Kentucky during the renovations, the home owners depended on Icon Construction for everything from remodeling layout suggestions to the selection of finishes.

The remodeling included removal of walls in the kitchen for better views, floor-to-ceiling living room fireplace, roof decks, bathrooms throughout, the stairwell, laundry room, and outdoor area including a screened porch and outdoor shower. Also, we were able to convert an empty attic space into a guest bedroom with an ensuite bathroom.
