Lady’s Island

This is a great example of what happens when everyone works together on a custom home build. With the homeowners living in New York, we had more than a few video calls to work through the details, including review of our finish selections. Shortly after getting started on this one-of-a-kind project, COVID hit. To make things a bit more challenging, we then had to shift-gears making suggestions for alternate, more readily available supplies. Even then, there were material delays. Our trades and suppliers played a major role in keeping this custom home build rolling.

We find that starting and finishing are the two most demanding phases of any project. Identifying and addressing punchlist items ushered us over the goal line. The happy homeowners moved into their new and beautiful 3,500 sf. home in Lady’s Island in late 2021.

This home is striking from the moment of pulling into the winding driveway which is nestled between the pine trees and its lakefront position at Brickyard Landing. The front door pours into an open floorplan with a large kitchen island that grabs your attention. It is crafted of custom cabinetry and a countertop made of an eye-catching quartzite sourced from Stone Central. The surrounding rooms are uniquely appointed with contemporary fixtures and finishes. Meanwhile, the view of the lake is calling you into the more-than-comfortable enclosed back porch. The back of the home is relaxing and inviting with several areas to sit and enjoy the view or enjoy the warmth from the small fire pit area.
